전기 자동차(EV)로 다시 돌아왔습니다. 

 

 

 

영국 회사 Electrogenic은 이 상징적인 자동차를 위한 새로운 EV 변환 키트를 개발하여 출력이 부족한 PRV V6 엔진을 160kW(218hp) 전기 모터로 교체했습니다.

 

 이 업그레이드는 자동차의 원래 출력을 거의 두 배로 늘리고 0-60mph 가속 시간을 5초 이내로 줄입니다. 

 

이 키트에는 42kWh 배터리가 포함되어 있어 약 150마일(241km)의 주행 거리를 제공합니다.

 

 

 

이 변환은 "플러그 앤 플레이" 방식으로 설계되어 자동차 구조를 크게 변경하지 않고도 수동 및 자동 모델에 쉽게 설치할 수 있습니다. 게다가 변환은 완전히 역전 가능하여 원하는 경우 자동차를 원래 상태로 되돌릴 수 있습니다.

DeLorean의 새로운 전기 버전은 상징적인 갈매기 날개 문과 미래 지향적인 디자인을 그대로 유지하며, 이제 현대 EV 기술로 강화되었습니다. 

 

하지만 이 개조는 저렴하지 않습니다.

 

 Electrogenic의 이전 유사 프로젝트는 비용이 많이 들었지만 DeLorean 개조에 대한 구체적인 가격은 언급되지 않았습니다.

또 다른 전기 모델인 새롭게 개조된 DeLorean Alpha5는 2024년 후반에 출시될 예정이며, 이 상징적인 차량의 유산을 새로운 친환경 방향으로 이어갈 예정입니다. 

 

이 새로운 모델은 1980년대 이전 모델을 연상시키는 성능과 스타일을 모두 제공하는 것을 목표로 하는 고급 기능이 탑재된 4인승 EV입니다.

The DeLorean DMC-12, famously known from the Back to the Future films, is making a comeback as an electric vehicle (EV).

 

The British company Electrogenic has developed a new EV conversion kit for the iconic car, replacing its underpowered PRV V6 engine with a 160 kW (218 hp) electric motor.

 

This upgrade nearly doubles the car's original power and reduces its 0-60 mph acceleration time to under five seconds. The kit includes a 42 kWh battery, offering a range of around 150 miles (241 km).

 

The conversion is designed to be "plug-and-play," meaning it can be easily installed in both manual and automatic models without requiring any significant changes to the car's structure.

 

Moreover, the conversion is completely reversible, allowing the car to be returned to its original state if desired.

 

The new electric version of the DeLorean retains the iconic gull-wing doors and futuristic design, now enhanced by modern EV technology.

 

However, this conversion doesn't come cheap, as previous similar projects by Electrogenic have been costly, though no specific price for the DeLorean conversion has been mentioned.

 

The newly revamped DeLorean Alpha5, another electric model, is expected to launch later in 2024, continuing the legacy of this iconic vehicle in a new, eco-friendly direction.

 

This new model will be a four-seater EV with advanced features, aimed at delivering both performance and style reminiscent of its 1980s predecessor.
